The White family have been farming for the last five generations, with three still active to this day. 

Alongside Oilseed Rape, which joined the crop rotation in the late 1970s, White's of Old Cantley grow wheat, sugarbeet, maize and potatoes. 

The farm has been situated on Cantley Common, about 4 miles to the east of Doncaster, South Yorkshire for over 57 years, the family having relocated from the Isle of Axholme, N. Lincolnshire in 1959.
